one of the most useful tools is MacWhisper, which can provide on-machine transcriptions, translations, and subtitles in almost no time at all. Really good accuracy and also super useful for doing that 'paper edit' before you even open your NLE.

Interesting use for table reads. I’ll have to try that out. However, Magic Mask doesn’t seem to work for me. Sure, it creates great masks, but it can’t retain the masking data. Even with workarounds like Saver Nodes, it simply doesn’t work on my system (DR 18.6, Mac Studio Max M2). Any advice would be appreciated.

I’ve been using meta AI to generate images for mood boards and story boards
Telling the ai exactly what composition, colors, subjects you want, weather, props, etc. AI is pretty neat! But it’s only as smart as the person using it. So will it replace us? Nah. But those who take advantage will definitely push forward a lot quicker than anyone else.

I don't believe the hype at all. AI is basically pish as it stands, and it'll be years if not decades before it really competes with human creativity. AI tools may help humans create and edit, but let's face it, we've had CGI for decades and most of it is a bit meh. Humans filming real things will always have the x factor.
