forced charity is socialism and not capitalism... charity is above all... government taking ones choice away goes against God's plan... And mixed messages when it comes to save the children... what about the ones that were "hungry" for "life"?!

1% from revenue is sometimes too much but could be taken into account while making the pricing. Maybe 5% of the EBITDA could be more appealing. The hard choice is whom to give the donations, I frankly steer clear of Red Cross and alike giants that spend the majority of the revenue.
I'll give a thought about social change we can create aside of providing to our workers and our own families. Agreed that non-profits can't be the only way to promote social change, maybe a rating of the for profits so there is a reason to do good.
