With its all aluminum body and a temperature rating of -40F to 167F this switch really is tough. It's no other than the Teltonika TSW202 -- a real industrial, DC powered switch.

That price is straight up insane. Wish that was around when I bought my unmanaged industrial switch for my outdoor camera system.
With dc - wire length, gauge, and voltage drop becomes a concern. But with those short wires, probably not going to be a factor.
Make sure the supply can handle multiple devices and their in rush currents, as a 3% voltage drop can tank a digital device. Ask any boater who diy installed their radar or fish finder and tried to save on wire cost.
Wire protection - add a fuse block for each device and you also get a service disconnect for each device. Would suck to have to power down the whole supply just for one device reboot.
Do heat calculations if installing in outdoor enclosure. Could save you a surprise later.

I am mostly in a Ubiquiti shop (so I would love 24v and 48v passive POE out). But honestly this is a wonderful switch. Been burned so many times when trying to use Tycon and a few other "industrial" brands. If this works at that price point, I would not be opposed to trying this. Do they go over the lightning protection, and are the parts replaceable in the event of damage?

Doesn't have enough POE power. It needs 90 Watts a port. We use a lot of DINrail switches and powerups for the video and access control systems.
