For everyone judging the rider, he was only doing about 40mph. But a puddle caused hydroplaning (which is why they slid so far) and caused him to fall. It only take less than inch of water to make most lightweight things slide. And that puddle would’ve been nearly invisible in the rain.

This is why you don't ride motorcycles in rain (especially heavy rains). check the forecast if you plan on riding. And if you're already out when it starts raining, get to shelter quickly but safely. People die all the time when riding even in perfect conditions. Don't risk it
