You say this, but in a decade on this island every time my Nigerian bestie and I walk into a church for a baby group, a women's event, etc. the church members will always immediately tell us about the one Black family in attendance. Immediately seeing someone who isn't white and going "Oh, we've got 3 other people like you here" is still racist.
