I had the same reaction when my son was born. He looked like Mr. Potato. My husband and I looked at each other and didn't say anything because we knew what the other was thinking. His face was distorted from the impact of passing through the birth canal. He is a very handsome young man today. He is not offended when we talk about what he looked like at birth. He was the first to make a comment about it when we showed him his baby pictures when he was young.
