The actual track textures are incredible now and the lights reflecting off the cars (especially at places such as Abu Dhabi) is absolutely beautiful

There has been a very noticeable improvement this year. I had Abu Dhabi as my first race and I crashed because I was focussing on the amazing textures

The games looks ok. However, paying full price on a game that is essentially the same as the year before is still hard to justify

Trackside details are literally copy/paste from 21' but that's expected. The cars and tracks have the most noticeable changes. It will take a few more years for the next-gen version (next-gen as in exponential graphical advancements and not just updates).

Sometimes I feel like the graphic changes they make is just a affective as you get with playing around with the contrast, brightness & colour on your screen

I would say that overall the game does look better, but I've noticed a couple of graphical issues so far that I'm hoping get patched out sooner rather than later.
- Randomly when looking in your rear view the distance between your wing leaves a line in the track
- Textures not loading in, but loading in when you get closer
- Low res textures becoming high res which happens during EVERY race introduction
- I had one instance where during the trophy ceremony it replaced every characters skin texture with a black one (was able to get a screen shot of this and posted it to twitter)

I mean its kinda offtopic, but how the fuck did you get cockpit view without that big thing in the middle that blocks half the view... Would be cool if anyone could answer that.

I prefer raindrops on visor and low visibility in the rain, it doesn't bother me not seeing properly, it's raining and rain goes on track and visor, the whole point of a wet race is you are not meant to see very well in the conditions and it be a challenge.

Same, actually, they removed little details like animations that were in F12020 like marble tire ware rubber, dust, leaves etc. So they downgraded not improved. I am waiting till the end of the year for this turd when it is a lot cheaper just to complete my F1 collection. Otherwise, this is not worth the money right now….F1 Life? What a useless scam to scam more dummies into buying pitcoins….lol

I bought F1 22 yesteraday and after 30 minutes I asked for a refund. Terrible graphics, the awful aliasing had me asking if it was a problem with my PC and I was playing at max settings with a RTX3080 on a 4K monitor. Furthermore, it was impossible to use my fanatec wheel due to a glitch that has not been fixed yet.

Only way in buying this game is if they implement online race penalties like GT7 does it limits the way aggressive destruction derby players race when you’re given slow down penalties.
