I made this enthusiastic montage of the 1964-65 World's Fair, shortly after Dorth and I got back from our 2014 trip to NYC. I'm obsessed by the 64-65 NY World's Fair. My dad had a TV repair shop down the block, so I went twice a week , and for two summers. A BIG impact. Hope you enjoy it. To the Sherman Brothers march, "It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow", written for GE's Carousel of Progress pavilion.

I was only 7 years old  When I had my day at the fair in 1964.  One of my greatest memories of the great 1960's  I still feel the impact of that day as it fueled my interest in advertising and pop culture   You just had to be there !

The best pictures I've seen of the Fair.
I went 16 times by playing hooky as a 14/15 year old.

What a nice montage, a good glimpse of many of the highlights of the fair. I only had one day at the fair in 1965 when I was 10 years old, and it left an indelible memory. That's the one day of my life I would most like to live over.

I will never forget I was 15 years old between 1964 and 1965. I went about 10 times. It was $2.00 for admission then today probably $100.

Thanks so much for putting this together for everyone, memories that last forever in our minds of a different time of relative innocence for most of us attending, Ted.

1:22 That's the funkiest beach ball I ever saw.  And Charles Atlas has nothing on her!
