ABOUT THE SERIES
The Michael Hughes Foundation has produced this video series to highlight the experience of first responders when dealing with cardiac arrest. You will hear firsthand accounts from six individuals who found someone in cardiac arrest and learn about their actions, the emotional impact of the event and - most importantly - discover how three simple skills (Call, Push, Shock) are vital in attempting to save a life!

The Michael Hughes Foundation is a purposeful Australian social enterprise with a primary mission to Turn Bystanders Into First Responders in out of hospital cardiac arrest events. We are focused on increasing the efficiency and community coordination of individuals when responding to cardiac arrest.
Key frameworks that we apply in all of our projects include Basic Life Support (more commonly known as DRSABCD), the Cardiac Chain of Survival and HeartSafe Community models. We provide access to high quality first aid equipment including defibrillators, first aid kits and accredited first aid training courses.
The Foundation is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission, and is a certified Social Enterprise with Social Traders.
