All prizes not claimed within 6 months will be put back into the prize pool. Please note that some items may require payment of customs charges when they arrive in destination countries.

Also, note that if something has a battery in it, it pretty much always means stress with sending them. These rules seem arbitrary and subject to constant change, so where possible, we'll ship things without the batteries and let you find one locally.

Electromaker contests are separate from the Electromaker store (I literally go to the post office to send prizes) so beyond giving tracking details there isn't a lot we can do if something goes missing.

Now the Pico 2 uses a RISC-V supported core!

The raspberry pi is costly during the shortage. This is still near the original price.

How about the operating system? it's probably Linux, but is there any linux based operating system for Risc-V architecture? if it exists, how are the apps? there are linux apps for this architecture? and if not, is there at least an arm/x86 instruction translation system for RISC-V similar to Box86 or Rossetta 2?

This looks really cool. Personally I don't like ARM. Never have. The only exception is my two Rpis, but the price is fucking insane. To me the only real benefit with ARM is lower power consumption over CISC. Other than that it's just ridiculously annoying. I can put any OS I want on any CISC computer. But if you even want to install a custom ROM on an ARM device it's like pulling teeth. Virtually no alternatives to the stock ROM exist on most ARM devices unless you're willing to drop critical features and risk completely bricking the device. I know RISC-V isn't perfect. But I'm certain it's future is brighter than ARM
