I wonder if this feels worse to lose then what Tampa had in 2019. They were swept, dominated the whole series, but this all timer Boston side choked a 3-1 lead. Yikes.

Why do people think any team "deserves" to automatically advance or win? Florida is a good team.

Three reasons the Bruins collapsed: 1- Conditioning, they looked tired and slow. 2- Discipline: there was none, they continually turned the puck over. 3-Motivation- they didn't want it as bad as the Panthers, they lost most of the board battles. They couldn't clear their zone. Who is responsible for these three things besides the player? The coach of course. Instead of giving out lolly pops he needed to get tougher with this team.

Or maybe give florida some credit for what they did.

As a Bruins fan, I took a page out of the Leafs fanbook and placed my first ever sportsbet for the Bruins to lose Game 7. That way, I at least made money and the sting doesn't hurt as much. You rewatch that Game 6 postgame presser with Jim Montgomery and tell me that is a head coach that has any control WTF was going on in that lockeroom. I'll let the professionals do the autopsy but I'm ready to say to Monty: take your Jack Adams and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

1976-77 Canadians message to 2022-23 Bruins: "Hold my beer!". 60 - 8 - 12. 1 loss at home along with 6 ties. +216 goal differential. And Montreal actually won the Cup - in a 4 game sweep of Boston. LOL!! Boston had 11 regular season OT wins this season. If there was no OT like back in 70s for regular season, Boston would have been 54 - 12 - 16 with 2 more games. Would have been 124 points, and a damn good season, but best ever? Nope. With that team and today's OT rules, hard to say Montreal doesn't end up with easily 7 or 8 more wins at least. Yea, different era, blah, blah, blah, blah. BTW, the guys in the video had it wrong. It's now 8 presidents trophy winners who won the Cup and 8 who have lost in the first round. Not 8 and 7 as stated.
