He was frustrated. He takes these children in, he raises them as his own, he puts Lucy, Steven, Peter & even Cindy ahead of Bobby, then Cindy gets Pregnant, and doesn't to take responsibility for the child. Also Ian could have said "I am the result of a Teen Pregnancy, and for My Mother it was alot of hard work. Biggest irony is that he begs her to stay when she "leaves".

Also do they have an Parenting Classes in Home Ec or make them use an Electronic Baby to show how challenging it is to raise a Baby. Remember on Degrassi when Spike was pregnant and she had to use an Egg.
