As an Arab with a part of my family very traditional, we used to do Henna on all the sacred Muslim holiday. When I was young, my mom always helped me to remove it, in the skin under the water. So it’s quite a surprise to know that you can peel it off with a card.

Wow she knows the trick! Real mustard oil darkens henna on skin much faster and it stays longer too!! You could do sugar and lemon mix immediately after the henna dries tho!

As an Indian, my mother always advised me since I was a toddler to put Vaseline or coconut oil on it which helps it darken! :)

Here's another tip
Use clove oil before applying henna. Apply a few drops of clove oil to the area you are going to apply henna. After peeling off the henna, apply a few drops of clove oil to the same area and rub it on the area. It will darken the henna real well

I’ve gotten Henna quite a few times now, but when I first ever got it, I didn’t realise you could peel it off so I just had it on my hand until it slowly started peeling off and I thought it was going away really quickly until I saw that the actual design was underneath…😂
