PS4 power button fix

Here is a quick fix for the common power button problem people have after taking their PS4 apart. A bunch of googling lead me to believe that a part had snapped off when I removed the cover but thats not the case. You just have to make a metal part on the cover touch a metal piece on the ps4 which activates the power. Alot of fixes require you to buy a new cover but you more then likely just arent putting it back together correctly so double check before you waste some money.

Thanks this video fixed all my issues. My power button hadn’t been working for a couple of years and I would always use my controller to power on. My PS4 started having issues and I was unable to fix them without being able to access the safe mode menu. Within seconds of properly securing the metal piece, the power button worked again and I was able to access safe mode and now my PS4 is working great!

DUDE YOU'RE THE BEST!! 6 years without the power button working on my ps4 and now is ALIVE! Just a tip: my ps4 has never been opened, so I just took off the cover a little but and it was enough to solve the problem with the little piece of metal.
