House Valaryon is, for sure, one of the most interesting houses in the story! Especially the sea snake I would have loved to see a series based on his 9 Voyages around Planetos! I mean talk about great source material... that right there could be peak G. R. R. M. Storytelling / world building at its best! I mean the whole thing from end to end would be packed with adventure, excitement, action, and so so much more!!

When i first heard of a sea faring house from old Valyeria i surely thought of sea dragons...swimming, wild fire spewing super long sea serpents....but seahorses are ok i guess....😮😢

Interesting. Of all the creatures they could have used, why the seahorse? In seahorses and pipefish, it is the male that gets pregnant and gives birth. There's usually a great connection between the houses and their sigils but am I missing something?
