Tien wanted to wear the armor he just acted like he didn't want to because it wouldn't have fit over his shoulders.

I bet if Krillin was there he would have worn it too, because he know his normal clothing won't do much to protect him.

You know I had a few revelations watching this;

1. Due to the fact that their clothes are on the floor all 4 of them stripped in front of Bulma. This isn't so major except that;
2. Vegeta was more than likely naked under his armor so now everyone's seen him naked.
3. I know the ACTUAL implications but Tien, it was Vegeta that did all those horrible things, not his clothes.
4. Vegeta was sort of right, there wasn't really any reason for Goku or Gohan to change into the armor considering that they only trained in it before switching back.

Tien and Piccolo probably thought "What's the point? If you ain't a super Saiyan nowadays, you're practically a meat shield anyway.". I Miss the days when all the fighters mattered. Uub is like the ONLY guy who isn't a saiyan who actually mattered in a fight. But then I don't like to admit to GT being actual canon.

I can't possibly imagine Piccolo and Tien wearing saiyan armor.

You can't hate Vegeta. His over confidence was one of the best thing about him. He was truly the most badass character in animated history.
