You actually can tour this house at Polymath in Pennsylvania. It’s in the same area as Falling water. It’s so well worth the tour.

I'm curious if the plans for these houses are in the public domain and/or if there's a builder somewhere recreating these homes.

Wonderful! I appreciate all things that are Frank Lloyd Wright. The aesthetics are stunning to me.

A piece of Hollywood trivia, actor Jack Larson who played Jimmy Olsen in the Superman TV show and partner of Montgomery Clift lived in a Frank Lloyd Wright house.

I love this. I love how they cared more about making their designs affordable for ppl instead of just wanting to make money.

Those are great houses! Better than modular homes produced presently. Yes, we need something like that today….although, in today’s economy, they probably couldn’t be affordably produced. Then on top of that the concrete, plumbing and electric. 3 very high priced trades.
Something to think about🤔🤔

Hi Ken. Well, you already know I've never been a Frank Lloyd Wright fan, but can appreciate his influence. As usual you offered a good report. Idea: Since you are talking pre-fab, I once helped a friend build a DIY log cabin home. It turned out beautiful. Could you cover something along tat line?

I come from an old family, my grandpa was born in 1897. I guess I'm not into flat houses. Thanks, Ken!

Had FLLW had this concept ready to go and complete with a national chain of builders in 1946-47 all involved parties would have become millionaires many times over.

Very nice compared to the cheap, drab plywood and drywall dumps we have now.

I worked at a prefab factory in Denver, Colorado in the early sixties. It's first apartment project went belly-up. The problem was the design. If only Frank Lloyd Wright had been the architect...
