People don't avoid the skin because of pesticides. Organic doesn't always mean no pestacides either. People avoid mango skin because mangos contain a chemical called urushiol. This compound is in the flesh but mostly found in the skin of mangos. If you have ever had an allergic reaction to poison ivy, you will not have a pleasant time if you get the skin in your mouth or even get the cut skin on your own skin. Just those who have an allergy to poison ivy or urushiol, though? Well, unfortunately, most people will experience an allergic reaction to urushiol to some degree. Some worse than others, but a lucky 15% or so don't react to it at all. So people tend to avoid it because they would rather avoid the chances that they are part of the 85% who do react.

I think you should try the Jaboticaba fruit. I have not yet seen it on your channel, but it’s one of the most delicious fruits and definitely very unique. Only grows in Brazil.

Mango is called keri or aam here You can eat skin of raw mango but you can't eat skin of ripe mango saying this from india where we have thousands of mango varieties and the ripe mango looks like sundari keri/aam and sundari means beautiful

We have a variety of mango called dudhiya malda where I come from. Its not completely white but is very light in colour for a ripe mango. Definitely try it if you get a chance. Its my favourite variety of mango.
