Day to Night timelapses with the sun in the frame are tricky, but not impossible :)

I think that the essence in your video is when you said "The best way for you to learn how to properly shoot them is to go out, try and shoot and fail until your learn every single secret about it and feel more comfortable shooting them". Very well said. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for your awesome video. A few days ago I did a time lapse of the setting sun over an amusement park in Utah. I actually used Arsenal Intelligent Assistant and it actually did a decent job. The cool thing was after the sun set a small crescent moon entered the time lapse on its way to set. Unfortunately, my battery ran out before it set. I wonder how hard it is to plan a time lapse with the sun and the moon? I also did a full moon time lapse and I ended up with a pulsating moon. Would that be caused by changing settings? Again, thanks so much for your videos.

What color temperature do you recommend using for sunrise and which one for sunset?

Can u recommend a decent tripod that’s sturdy enough whilst being a decent weight for carrying around on your back?
I’m using one I borrowed off a friend at the mo, and it’s a really sturdy and good tripod but it’s a huge and really heavy video tripod so it not portable at all really.it’s deffo overkill for me. I’ll use it when I’m trying to film specific stuff like wildlife or surfers but I need a more portable tripod for time lapse, long exposure and focus stacking etc.

The lenses I use most oft is the Tamron 17-28 or the sigma 100-400, occasionally the 90mm macro, and on a a7iii body.
Do you have any hands on experience with the K & F concept tripods?

What about Auto ISO or Shutter priority ? Would that work? Thank you!

Do you need a special lens filter to protect my a6400 camera when recording the time lapse of the sunset?

Salut Emeric, merci pour ce tuto très instructif.
Pourquoi de pas mettre un filtre GND assez puissant le temps où le soleil est fort visible ?

It's there any danger to mirrorless cameras shooting time-lapse of the Sun? It seems the lens of little more than a magnifying glass zeroing in on the Sun to make a very hot spot on the sensor, which seems like it would damage it. Any experience in this area?

Hi, there. I have a question. When I shooting sunrise/sunset on my iPhone 13. There’s a large reflection half ball flying around, why’s that? And how to avoid it??

With the sun in your shot, will it damage the image sensor?
