ace car and ace driving...looks very easy to drift!i appreciate the comments below about enough drifting, but its so much fun to do it!yes it great to nail an apex and string a load together, and feeling it hooking up out of the corner, but is very hard to show that on a vid..

@MacNugget A year or so ago, Car and Driver ranked the GT3 as the top handling car in the world, but wrote something to the effect of "With a tread compound that will wear out before your first oil change, the GT3 is the best handling car in the world"

@bluetardis Why not? If you have the money to buy one then you have the money to fix/replace it when something goes wrong. If not then it shouldn't be taken on the track at all. Racing or drifting, you don't track it in any way shape or form if you aren't willing to except something can happen to the car.

@matty2k001 it's VERY hard to bring any 997to slide - the grip level is simply unbelievable, not to mention GT versions, so this guy doing his job great - some powerslides for the camera are just what the spectators want - he's not racing, he's having fun.

i'll have to agree with several people who have said there's way too much drift footage in this video. it's the same drifts and they're not even that good (minimal angle and speed). please just show a few fat drifts in the video but give us GRIP because that's what GT2RS has. we want to see the car gripping hard at the limit with just a tiny hint of slide! having the pleasure to drive 996 GT2 @ Mid-Ohio few years back at speed in 2004 I can imagine the how much sweeter this new one must be.

@ViperVenomACR i haven't googled it buy by judging on its 0-100km/hr at 3.5 seconds and its power from the engine i'd say its a RWD since i believe the 0-100 time could be faster given the power and torque output from its engine but its limited by its tyres hence the 3.5sec time. It'll probaly get a quicker time if its an AWD (assuming its an RWD) hmmm, this would be awkard if its AWD

@Manzancene maybe because gt3 rs is more relaxing than gt2rs.gt3rs is naturally aspirated engine compared to gt2rs's twin turbo jet engine.sound wise, gt3rs sounds better pure flat 6, gt2rs is more of a jet sound due to the turbos..at the end of the day, different people have different opinions
