Personally if i directed heathers i would make them drunk in this song. It's a very heavy song and i appreciate them for showing how serious this can be, but when they're sober it makes it much more dangerous because this is how they normally act. If they were drunk, their disgusting acts could be seen as being influenced by the alcohol. Then, once JD kills them people would feel like it wasn't as neccesary, and the seventeen reprise bit at their funeral would feel like it makes more sense. I understand why they got rid of blue and honestly this musical is just as good without blue. Plus it gave Duke a song which i love. So in my dream heathers, they would be drunk idiots that had a very messed up sense of right and wrong. It would make the deaths feel less deserved.

I think this song is lowkey more accurate to the movie than blue, except for the fact that it doesnt have the "oh no oh no no no" from heather duke and mcnamara, which kind of happens in the musical when they lock veronica out of the car, i think, i watched the movie months ago, almost over a year, so dont quote me on this
