Installed the Release Preview Build from Windows Update.... Working fine and smooth.... All my existing apps and data from Windows 10 are successfully migrated and working fine

Beta Channel has the final build and everyone on it is ahead of the official launch scheduled for next week. Next thing people who have it can do is wait for the regular update expected on October 12. On that note, its perfectly safe to unenroll from Windows Insiders ahead of the Windows 11 rollout, since the general public will get the same version on October 5.

Animations and the context menus look far from a release product

What in Gates name were they thinking with that context menu inside a context menu? Why can't the show more just open a second one that is also themed? (like how the "New.." opens next to the other one, using the same theme...

The right click menu has to be changed. No benefit to adding more clicks like this.

If anyone's wondering why the beta channel is performing better, it is because there are more bug fixes and stability in the main release. Hence, I will still reccomend the main release version.

My laptop has 1050 single core and 4541 multicore performance plus GPU score of 5674 & 35126 respectively for onboard and dedicated graphics

but still i was getting choppy animation and slow explorer performance.

Specially on Battery, it was really bad compared to windows 10.

at least with windows 10 it feels snappy weather it is on battery or direct power.

The support for intel 7th gen cpu and older is still uncertain for Windows 11 though. There's now a new waiver message for people upgrading from unsupported hardware from Win 10 to Win 11. ("Installing Windows 11 on this PC is not recommended and may result in compatibility issues. If you proceed with installing Windows 11, your PC will no longer be supported and won't be entitled to receive updates.") Will have to see what actually happens when Windows 11 is officially released, because the message currently sounded like Win 11 on unsupported hardware will not receive Win updates or security patches after that.

Start menu is not working in this build.

The start menu doesn't work for me, I tried everything from restarting windows explorer and restarting the pc, but still the start menu won't work

I just can't understand the start menu. To me it just doesn't seem right. It feels like it was just smashed together as an afterthought. Other than that, runs smooth and fluid.

I have a small question, lets say I became a windows insider and I chose the insider release preview channel and got the windows 11 build early before windows 11, if I click unenroll my device on October 5th will I get the Public version of windows 11 or will I be stuck on the insider preview build?
