What is Ag Gag?

“Ag gag” is state legislation aimed at punishing whistleblowers on factory farms. These bills have been sweeping the nation, and are the agricultural industry’s attempt to hide the abuses and horrific conditions animals on factory farms must endure.
They affect humans, too. Some ag gag bills are so sweeping, they ban recording in all workplace areas, leaving employees vulnerable to harassment, children prone to abuse, and workers at risk of injury.
