Crying is part of human nature. After all, we’re brought into this world crying, we spend about 3 hours a day crying as infants, and then at some point, we kinda...well, stop. Whether it’s because of social pressure or a culture that condemns crying, lots of people (particularly men) try to stop crying. But what if crying was actually the solution to your problems?
In this video, we’ll guide Brainiard through a full-on crying session, where we examine what exactly tears are in the first place, the different types of tears (that’s right, not all tears are made equal), and the reasons people cry. Then, we’ll go over the benefits of crying, from the physical, to the emotional, to the social! Finally, we’ll even give you some acting tips on how to cry on command, and how to ensure your next cry is a good one (that helps you heal) rather than a bad one (that makes you feel worse).
