Guys remember this: A lot of versions of this myth says Persephone makes sure everyday to stomp on Minth. So along with being used for coffee here. That means Persephone makes sure to personally torture her victim everyday. Every other god curse or blow someone up, and leave them alone to suffer. Persephone however will personally make sure you suffer everyday for trying her.

Random Lady: Oh Hades, come with me and have some fun.

Hades, deeply uncomfortable: No thank you, ohnopleasedonotgetclosertome.

Persephone the top in the marriage: So you have chosen the way of pain.

Moral of the story: Don’t mess with Persephone.

I feel like Hades wouldn't be happy Persephone turned her into tea, just not for the reasons people expect. I mean, dude basically said that anyone who disrespects Persephone is going to super-mega-hell forever, so I mean, if he found out Minthe was talkin smack I think he'd be a little upset she only got made into tea instead of something worse and everlasting.

I don't think it makes it any better that mint is my favorite flavor of tea

Both Hades and Persephone have an "I'll destroy you while I smile and whistle a happy tune" thing going on and I love it.
Persephone crushes Minthe
Hades imprisons Pirithious with snakes and furies.
For those who might be wondering.

I like the story of Persephone and Hades, they actually were happy and never cheated on one another in the original myths, It's like the story of Perseus, one of the few demigods that were lucky and happy.

I love that they're both so protective of each other. Like when Hades chained guys who were trying to come kidnap her to a chair with snakes.

Demeter: "Oh my poor daughter! Trapped in the underworld away from the sun and flowers!"
Persephone: *sips tea from a bone chalice while blasting heavy metal music
