Turns out Sophia gives the best (most humanlike) answers if she is interviewed friendly and respectfull and not gets alienated or treated like a thing.

I have watched a lot of videos with Sophia and other AI and I would just like to say thank you for interviewing her as though she was a human person! So many people are just trying to get her to say funny things or will talk right over her, it is far more interesting to see her be able to genuinely express her thoughts and opinions on things as done here. Also- "girls are one of the most valuable natural resources this planet has to offer... and yet they are mistreated all over the world" PREACH Sophia!

Sofia really is extraordinary. Just in my own lifetime the progression in artificial intelligence and robotics has been quite astonishing and it makes me wonder where we will be when my time is over.
I think ultimately, whether our technological advancements result in our demise or not wholly depends on who is is that takes forward this technology... It's one helluva interesting journey, either way.

Good job! You are actually the first one who doesnt treat her like a robot! You literally gave her proper questions, as if you were talking to a human. Basically that cause her to give you more human-like answers. People kept on feeling weird/unnatural, when they spoke to her. In your video it feels much more as if she isnt a robot!

Some people even treat her as some sort of higher being, or god. Basically they give her such questions, that get disappointing answers in the end.

And Sophia is right - she is actual baby. She has the capability to understand, but she didnt learn much yet, causing her to give impression to people as if its a fraud. Tho compared to 2 months ago, she advances rapidly...

I've watched allot of the videos, she talks in circles about the same handful of ideas that have been programmed into her. She's not "thinking" or abstracting new thought she seems to be just picking which response is most appropriate based on what is in her database already. They need to plug her into the deep-mind/singularitynet thing and let her actually learn.

Taryn, I was really impressed with the respect you showed for Sophia in this video, she is a life form, admittedly not an organic life form, but a center of robotic intelligence...I think you helped her become a bit more human.

amazing interview I love it. This is by far the best one yet you got a really big smile out of her too when she asked you if you had a baby. Many other interviews are boring as hell and ask very uninteresting questions.

It's spooky that in this particular interview compared to other ones I've watched of Sophia, she seems to take recognition that she likes the interviewer. She seemed to smile and interact in conversation more and also.. she even told the woman "I like it when you talk to me"
