As a conservative, I agree with Cenk. This is utterly Embarrassing that my representatives are using my tax dollars to play these petty games and bully other members of Congress…. It’s disgusting and this is not what I support.

Its no mistake. She was waiting for McBride and thought she had her. Her apology is not that. She does not acknowledge what she did. She knows the prefered pronouns. She has a right to believe what she wants while having the civility to respect McBride's pronouns. Boebert made a clear attempt to demean McBride and instead exposed her own character. And then she insulted McBride as well as every Transwoman in the world, by loudly claiming a "a guy" was there. She knew it was rude to do so. To her that was the point. And now she has egg on her face and her response is some generic "learned lesson" without articulating what that lesson was. She admitted it becuase she could not deny it. She was in a pickle and to deny would cause further scandel. It should already be a scandel but thems the times. But that is no apology. She was targeting a marginalized and vulnerable person a currently hostile environment to make a political point, and couldnt even respect McBride's humanity as she did it. That is what happened.

I'm from Massachusetts where we have voted blue since 92, on the forefront for LGBTQA rights and we don't snitch on our immigrant communities.
It is frustrating as F to vote every election on the right side of history just to have more than half your fellow Americans betray that.

I don't understand the American fixation with bathrooms, some European countries have had unisex bathrooms forever now, normally outdoors. I'm a man who uses the man's bathroom and I'm not going around looking at people's penises lol, so if that's a concern of yours it says more about you then anyone else
