Pls. Note that some of the links are just similar items due to availability (many of my clothes are older), and that some of them are adlinks which means I might be working on an affiliate-based term with the brand/website. Therefore I may receive a small percentage in commission if a purchase is being made. If you choose to use these links, thank you for your support! :-)

Also note that I go out of my way to find eco-friendly alternatives - either straight from an eco-brand or from a brand that is improving qualities (organic cotton, recycled polyester etc.).

I really appreciate you saying that fashion is not superficial. I studied fashion design in college and then got a masters in fashion journalism, I’m doing a phd in art history now which relates to fashion, and you have no idea how many people tell me these are shallow subjects. They have no idea how much fashion is psychology, sociology, identity, and history. Thank you!

I really appreciate with your low-buy 2020 that you haven't accepted many (if any?) gifts from brands. I love that you repeat your outfits - it is not boring, you are making the best use of your wardrobe and that is the most sustainable option! I too wish that I learned these fashion lessons earlier in life and it wasn't until my early 40s that I made more conscious decisions on what I consume as well.

The main thing I love is the way you don’t keep buying new items but you keep coming up with new ideas of how to wear your clothes you already have. I’m so inspired and I hardly buy anything now! Use Less! ❤️Thank you Signe xx

I loved every single lesson you shared Signe! They are so so true to most of us girls. I have now learned very handy tips thanks to you. And especially, I really engaged with the one talking about feeling okay with caring about your look and being interested in fashion. Me, as an architect who started to build a formal hobby around fashion mixed with architecture, it made me feel very uncomfortable at the beginning and still, because I thought I would look superficial and my "intelligence" as an architect could be compromised or criticized just because I love fashion aside my architecture career. Thank you really for mentioning this lesson because it made me feel much more motivated to keep showing my interest in fashion and allowing myself to express with no shame. Happy birthday Signe! Love your way of being and your Life in Denmark vlogs!

😍😍😍I am in my forties but when I hear you speak, I wish I learned my lessons earlier as you did. But I am glad I changed the way I live and consume to be more conscious and ethical. Thank you for the lovely video. XOXO

I went out for dinner last night and realised that everything I was wearing was at least 10 years old, except underwear of cause.
The hand bag was the oldest at 20 years old. Xx

I love your honesty and integrity. These are all great lessons and I only wish I had learned sooner what you have been able to figure out by 30 years old. Pregnancy is lovely on you! Looking forward to to see how you adapt your wardrobe to your pregnancy and thoughtfully add what is only absolutely needed and what you love.

I love your style. There’s just something about a clean, simple black & white look that is so sleek and timeless to me. Also, I always repeat outfits and I don’t care. I like to wear my favorite items over and over.

I really resonated with them all but especially point number 8. One of my goals is to become a stylist in the near future. One thing that I feel I’ve I’m learning in my 20’s is to be comfortable in your own because inner confidence really shines through the clothes we wear 😊🦋💫

I've been following your channel for about 2 years now and I learned so much. I'm definitely not afraid to repeat outfits any Moore. This is just a lifestyle and you can make it more exciting by pairing it a little differently the next time. I also much more conscious about what I buy and also take my time and sort of dip my too in it before investing in an item. Thank you for your advice! ☺️

And repeating outfits is a show of confidence in who you are.

"Less is really more."
Such a sincere, appropriate and lovely video! I'd like more content like this to be shared both on this platform (I mean YT) and on other social media as well. This is really, really important to be brought up.
I also loved that you mentioned choosing the right/suitable materials. 😃

P.S. Happy Birthday, Signe! Even if a little bit lated. 🎈

I am in my 50s and have just started to feel comfortable with my style, my clothes and my spending. Previously I wanted MORE MORE MORE of everything, but now I am happy with buying less and buying more investment pieces. Your ideas and content have definitely influenced me and I am very grateful for that! It will be interesting to hear what you have to say when you are 50 (I will 70!!!). Take care and nurture yourself and your baby bump!

Thank you so much for this - especially your comments about fashion not being superficial 🙌🏽 both my mother and grandmother were in the fashion industry and so it has always been a passion of mine also. I am slowly learning that ‘shopping’ doesn’t have to equal ‘purchasing’ - I find great joy in browsing through everything and using this as inspiration for my own wardrobe. I’m also a huge advocate for outfit repeats so thank you for this!! 💕

I've learnt that 'having a style' doesn't equal 'wearing what flatters your figure'. I also somehow came to the conclusion that if I like to wear hoodies and checkered shirts, it means I haven't yet found my style. Because stylish people wear oversized blazers with midi skirts and heels. So I've learnt I have to consume less of the content where people show styling tips and more content like this, where you make me think about MY style ❤

Things I have learned over the years and stick to:
- when it comes to knits I exclusively go for wool, cashmere or other natural fibres: they last long, keep me warm without getting too hot and I actually wash them very rarely since airing out will most often make them smell fresh again! I generally exclusively go go for natural fibres in my wardrobe.
- when it comes to shoes I go for good quality and designs which fit with the rest of my wardrobe. Also I prefer shoes with good soles and regularly clean and care for my leather shoes to make them last for years to come!
- I started sewing a couple of years ago and even though I do sew some clothing pieces from scratch I mostly use my skills for altering clothes I have to make them fit perfectly for me!
- when I want a new piece in my wardrobe I wrote down exactly what I want and look for that. If I don’t find what I want then I simply have to live with that.
- last but not least the most important thing is that I found my style over the last couple of years. I know what I like and what I don’t like. Of course it’s not stagnant, my style does change slightly over time, but generally it stays pretty consistent

Great video! One day I want to have a wardrobe which is perfectly curated, I’m not there yet, but one day I’ll hopefully be :)

Happy birthday! Quality over quantity is something I value too, and I find it very inspiring that you always look so good, despite repeating, if not the outfit, some particular items in your wardrobe frequently!
