I'd be interested in an experiment where people record themselves, then adjust the recording until it sounds like what they hear. It feels like it might help us understand each other better.

You know what would be cool? If we could make a computer program where you record your voice, and it sounds like what you sound like to yourself when you talk. Then we can hear what people hear when they talk!

I had speech therapy as a kid and they used to play my voive back to me - I had always thought that was why I hated my voice.  Great vid!  We could never get tired of your voice Hank.

I have a relatively deep voice, nothing jaw dropping, but it gets down there. But, it sounds craaazy deep to me, and I've known people who have way deeper voices than I do. I can't imagine how they sound to themselves.
