I call food in my yard… yard snacks. Tomatoes, Blueberries, Figs, Apples and so on. I eat as I garden. :)

In Germany, the variety is known but also rather as a fancier variety among hobby gardeners, in the supermarket you will not find it here. In German it is called "Reisetomate", something like traveller tomato, no idea if there is an English variety name. In the past they were more common and people took them as a snack when they were traveling by train on vacation, because you can tear the pieces off the tomato without a knife and you don't get dirty because no water comes out of the broken edge of the tomato. A few sandwiches wrapped in sandwich paper and a tomato, that's all you needed as a snack.
