SNMPv3 Architecture

This tutorial explains the SNMP architecture, as defined for SNMPv3. It starts to explain the design goals for SNMP. Next it introduces the various modules defined within the architecture, and explains some terminology such as snmpEngineID and Context. The SNMPv3 message structure is explained, followed by the User Security Model (USM) and the View Based Access control Model (VACM).
