2001 Volvo V70 XC Surging Issues and Breather System Problems

This customer is experiencing surging issues while the vehicle is idling. Vehicle would intermittently "surge" forward even if customer's foot is off the gas and on the brake. This is a major safety concern. The tech pulled the breather system apart and found carbon deposits clogging 2 cavities. The vehicle also had oil and water mix which created a sludge. Tech feels this is due to improper maintenance and/or lack of oil changes.

What this basically means is that due to the excessive oil pressure, a lot of the other engine seals are now starting to leak. These would include: rear main seal, both camshaft seals and the crank seal.
