Would have loved to hear how the engine sounded with bad part on.

I had rough running on an xc90 v6. I disconnected the coil pack on each cylinder one at a time, they all made a different noise when disconnected, except for 1 coil pack which made no difference when disconnected indicatimg it or the spark plug were faulty. I replaced the defective coil pack and put in all fresh spark plugs and it now runs smoothly again.

Good to know, imma check it just in case, was idling rough yesterday but could also be cause it was cold and it wasn't In The garage.

does anyone know the names of the hoses coming off this valve? The skinny hard plastic one on mine broke and I can't figure out the make out the part to replace it.

How about engine fluctuating at idle and surging under acceleration? I can't blow through mine but what if it's stuck closed?
