There is actually no way Palpatine would have been able to escape both Mace and Anakin. the only reason Palpatine didn't die from mace is because Anakin killed him so Palpatine would just have died and the Republic would continue to rule.

Let’s assume the events of the movie happen as normal right up until anakin is forced to choose between palpatine and the Jedi. In the movie he chooses palpatine by cutting off windus arm to save palpatine. So if he at that same moment were to choose the Jedi instead, windu would have killed palpatine. Even though palpatine was feigning his weakness he was still in a vulnerable position and windu was in a full windup ready to bring the saber down. If anakin doesn’t intervene, windu kills palpatine. Now, let’s instead assume that anakin chooses to obey windus order to stay at the temple. That means the events of the movie happen normally only anakin isn’t there to stop windu from killing palpatine so palpatine still dies. Either way, if anakin stayed loyal to the Jedi, palpatine dies and order 66 is never implemented. You are completely incorrect and I really think your misinformation should be removed

mace had him on the ropes, practically defeated with just him. Had Anakin joined mace in battle, why would you conclude that palpatine would escape? No, together, they would have killed sidious, order 66 would never have been made, the sith would have been destroyed, the war ended, and peace reigned thru out the galaxy with the republic and the senate, still in control.
