Thanks for not mentioning that holding down the volume, home, and power buttons causes a HARD RESET. I just wiped out my entire phone. Thanks a lot. Praying my photos and videos are on the SD card.

you saved my day...I pushed the 4 buttons and a information appeared: "an OS operation etc etc etc your phone Volume Up: go on Volume down: restore" I restore it and the phone come back....it was without any light...just the batery heatting as it was chargning but everything else was off.
