Deborah Does Not Mean Women Should Rule

Egalitarians love to claim Deborah as their representative who demonstrates that the principle of universal male rulership in the church, the family and human society is untrue. But is their view of Deborah accurate or is the sacred author of Judges 4 and Judges 5 communicating something else to believers? Multiple times, when men were cowardly and wouldn't step up, God used a woman to achieve His plan.

Also the exception does not disprove the rule. God designed men to be the leaders. If they fail to take up this role, a woman may be forced to step in.

Yup we have to put everything together not just bits and pieces. Context is EVERYTHING!

We have had two votes on various issues in our small church. The women were allowed to vote but outnumber the men. I asked the pastor why they are allowed to vote. It’s not Biblical. But we run our church’s like a non-profit instead of a church based on Biblical principles, and they are too afraid to cross that line. Feminism crept in and weak men allow it to fester.
