For anyone who doesn't know, the son's name is Oswald and spring bonnie takes over his dad, not posseses him. Also the ending is happier in the book.

Well some people might be like "Oswald is kinda a jerk to his Dad so why would his give his life to his Son?" Cause most parents love their kids no matter what. Well good parents anyways. Even if their kid are acting like little crap stains they would still love their kids and protect them no matter what. Oswald's Dad know that Oswald was acting out due to his friends moving away due to their town dying and as well not being able to go to places during summer due to tight money. Oswald does indeed learn in the actual story to be grateful for what he's got and well in the actual story the Father does live. This animation I am sure they change the ending for a more bad ending.
