I love this whole scene, it's one of the funniest scenes on Friends, and the whole episode is brilliant. 😂🤣 Ross&Rachel in seasons 1-3 were great!

The funny thing about this is that Rachel knew that she nearly blew it when she spoke about the 'animal sex' part. Ross was able to show her that he was everything she could want. Not just sexually but emotionally.

This is the first time Rachel has mentioned the "connection" that she and Ross share. The second time was back in season 10 when they went to see Leonard Green and Ross rejected Rachel to have sex because he didn't want to take advantage of her. You can tell in this scene that Rachel realizes what she had with Ross was amazing and that she misses it and wants it back. She realizes she wants to be with Ross again and knows he's the one she wants and telling him it's never off the table is her subtle way of letting Ross know how she feels. She wants him to know there's a
future for the two of them. This scene was important for the sole purpose of the reunion in the finale. In this video Ross was upset because Rachel mentioned how good the sex with Paolo was. She said it was just physical and there were no emotions there but with Ross the sex was the best she had ever had because of the connection they share. There was also tenderness and intimacy, two of the most important aspects of a relationship. Ross and Rachel were destined to be together.

Jennifer and David were amazing together! and the fact they had crushes on each other in this early phase makes it even better! I always remember Jennifer said various times in the interviews that David was an amazing kisser, and looking at their passionate kisses it sure looks that way.❤‍🔥 I also remember Rachel said a few times on the show that Ross is a great kisser ( I remember she said it to Jill, in the episode with the sister, and later to Mona).

You have to side with Ross here. He’s already insecure after the carol stuff so to hear Rachel praise how good someone else is after they’ve done it is really demoralizing.

And Rachel knows it too. Credit to her for realizing she messed up and works so hard to fix it. Never did that in the later seasons
