Nice tips, I definetly want to use it.
And I`d like to share my poor experience in gold weapon farming. Till now I`ve found two weapons: one on the top of the mill, one on the top of the red tower. I`ve found them during daylight, and all of them was a skull club.
So you actually can find it by day, but maybe you want doing it at night to prevent scull clubbing.

Spider I'm in the following doing the first one u said and when your going down the windmill u can grapple back up and reset way easier only using the grappling poles u can jump off the windmill one and reset easier.

I searched YouTube for hours just to find the first spot you showed on transformer tower! I remembered it from launch, still works in 2024 on series X btw... imo much easier than hord or prison! Liked and subbed for that spot alone

Chances might have something to do with legend lvl as well. I know I can't expect to find gold weapon with first 20min but I keep finding worse stuff than I find during the day in police vans on normal. I only found golden guns this far which aren't really rare but I'll keep trying and leveling myself up fast as well on nightmare since it's 1000 times faster than on normal.

Has anyone recently tried this? I have been farming for about 2 hours note and not found one good weapon. I found one orange weapon but apart from that it was mostly blue. Does this method still work?

Holy Shit. I farmed the first two spots for hours and never got a gold.
I tried the 3rd spot and got a blade of order the first try.
