Why wouldn't he face the same charges and Penalties - the 4 dead and all those wounded are just as dead or injured as if they were shot by a 40 year old. I've handled guns since I was 8 years old - ALWAYS under the direct and close supervision of my father.

I've been in the shooting sports since I was 5. Got my first gun as a Christmas present when I was 10. I've never pointed a gun at anyone or shot anyone. And I've owned dozens of weapons including "AR style " 55 years of safe responsible gun ownership. It's not the gun that's the problem it's the owner that's defective.

When the courts review this kid's case down the road (and they will), I want every Survivor and the Families of the Victims to be there, Front and Center. I want them to recount the trauma they went through before any of his defense is given.

Yesterday, there was a shooting at a high school in Joppa Maryland. I don't understand how it goes to shooting when you are upset with what is happening to you. I got bullied but I never thought to unalive anyone. I just knew I would live a better life than the bully.
