Great review! I'm 61 and am approaching 2000 miles for my 6 month anniversary... I NEVER get tired of riding this thing! I play golf on it (6 miles/3-4 times per week), I watch for low tides so I can ride the beach on it (last 3 days in a row), I do my volunteer trail maintenance on it, and I just ride it around the neighborhood nearly every day (6-12 miles loops). Almost all done injury free!

Your daughter's ability to ride and purge at the same time is oddly inspiring.

This is crazy. Just stumbled across your video after owning an XR for a week. I live in Florida now but moved from NYC and worked for the Statue of Liberty.

When you pass that Statue Cruises boat, that was me on the 2nd deck tying the line. I know for a fact because I saw you riding past and always wanted a OneWheel but couldnt justify getting it in NY at the time. I clearly remember seeing you ride by and thinking to myself how cool that was.

Thats a full circle moment for me seeing this video 3 years later.

Hey we got into the onewheel XR the same year! One thing I wish they would add is a function to limit the power output so that even at full “throttle” u will never have to worry about getting pushbacks/nosedives. Constant pushbacks coming up during my cruise forces me to slow down, gather myself, and get back into the flow of the ride. An artificial limit will ensure I can fully focus/enjoy my ride and not having to worry about if I’m going too fast and am approaching the limit of the motor

I know it’s easy to just say “yeah I agree with ya, Jimmy!”, but that’s honestly how I feel. You touched on a lot of the key points about what makes these devices so special. I love em both!

Pick something; anything, put on safety gear, and go for a ride. It’ll change your life 😊

Started on a pint this Christmas, quickly moved onto a used XR with less than 60 miles on it. Haven’t ridden the pint much since and loving the XR. Started doing trails which is another experience entirely from riding street.

Sorry your daughter's sick, but that was pretty awesome that she's didn't even seem to miss a beat on the wheel while depositing breakfast on the pavement. Get well soon :)

Great vid Jimmy! I’ve had my XR since last summer 2018. Was going to get a Pint, thank goodness I did not. I’m old, turning 50 here. This just take me back to the days of skateboarding with homemade parts and feeling like that kid again. Just the joy of feeling free is probably the most important. I have a boosted but the turn radius on it compared to the OW+XR is night and day, not to mention the smoothness of any terrain you’re on. Boosted was just to stiff and having a remote to rely on was different. This is mind and device connection, you think and it goes where you want. This is the best electric vehicle ever and without the range issue you get with a Pint. It is one of the best investments I’ve made. Thanks again!

I'm a Skateboarder and I finally got a OW. But this is a completely different vibe than skateboarding this is more like surfing or snowboarding on land so I'm still getting a feel for it I've only had it since Xmas and work 50/60hrs weekly but this thing is so much fun it's not about how fast you go but where you can go and this things goes all over and no more worries about pebbles in the street!

Good video man I always love watching your videos and they always bring a smile to my face. I’m saving up for a one wheel pint and I’m so mad that I can’t have one sooner. I watch your videos because my passion and love for one wheels need to be filled with information and comedy. I’m honestly surprised you don’t have more subscribers with the quality of your videos. Keep making videos and I hope you have a good rest of your life

Cool video! Snowboarding season here in Switzerland took an abrupt end. So I ordered my XR a few days ago. Shipment alone was $200, but damn I’m stoked about it. 🤩

Another banger video Jimmy!!! However, we gotta talk about these calls for heavier pushback. From what I’ve seen, pushback makes nosedives way more dangerous. When pushback happens and the nose comes up, people instinctively want to get the board to level out so they put more and more weight on their nose. By the time the nose finally gives out, a persons entire weight is on their lead foot making it so you hit the ground a lot faster. If the board was more leveled out when the nose gave out you would be more centered over the wheel, and it would give you a much better chance of saving it or at the very least an easier run out.

I hope everyone is feeling better. Your daughter is a gamer going out there and even trying while really sick. Reminds of the time I threw up on my cross country coach after running in the sectionals even though I was sick. I get the "home-made" comment from time to time but not very much anymore. There are a lot of Onewheels running around the San Francisco Bay Area. I see them frequently while commuting on my scooter in San Francisco. I have very few miles on my Onewheel but keep it because the few miles I do have on it are like no other PEV I own. Keep up the great work Jimmy!
