Every morning, join Father Jeffrey Kirby as he begins the day with prayer and reflection. In a few short minutes, Father Kirby guides you in prayer, shares a brief reflection grounding your day in the Church’s rhythm of feast days and liturgy, and provides you with the encouragement necessary to go forward with peace and strength.

Let us do as the saints urge and begin our days in prayer together so as a community of believers we may join the Psalmist in saying, “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” (Psalm 5:3-4)

Fr. you are a hard hitting Priest, I learn from you. Here in Tasmania their is a shortage of Priests in Rural areas. The 5 souls lost on the Submersible is tragic but 200, 000 babies lost Worldwide through abortion everyday is worse in my understanding.

The Saint of the day podcast that Good Catholic has can help with this. I often imagine what it must have been like to have been in the shoes of the Saints but I don't think I've prayed with them like Father suggest. I've missed a few of the Morning offerings because they don't pop up plus I'm busy on a trip to be with the kids. I will go back to earlier ones because I don't want to miss any of the prayer methods Father was going to share.
