440 nits full-field is amazing, Samsung is kicking ass. The matte AR kills it for me, so, maybe their will be another QD option with gloss, Panasonic or Sony maybe, either way, upgrading this year, for sure

What ruins Samsung for me is their OS, hoping the new one will be a lot better but almost feels laggier in my TV.

The big question is if they are being constantly throttled at the current brightness because of heat buildup, how are they going to be able to function at a higher brightness? I guess I’ll wait n see past the 1st year, like see how they function in 2026. They going to have some bugs to shake out of those sets… I refuse to be a beta tester with a new product, especially for the $$$$ they going to want for them.
