PSG is a free-roam sandbox game about Patrick Starr roaming Bikini Bottom, playing mini-games, and earning currency to take part in the Fry Cook Games! Think Goat Simulator, with a Spongebob theme.

The thing I love most about this game is it pays homage to the first three seasons of SpongeBob. There is a lot of references from season 1 through 6 and the few references from the more modern seasons this is a love letter to the show more than anything else. For people who wanted to explore Bikini Bottom and have some semblance of a cohesive World built from the show they did a good job with what they had. The gameplay is focused on being relaxing and chill more than being high octane so I can forgive it for having some gameplay flaws but I'm hoping they Continue to update this game with more content and costumes for at least a little while. Because this is genuinely a very good turn your brain off type of game and ironically is probably the only full open world game we're going to get in the SpongeBob universe. I'm playing it now and I've had more fun playing this game and exploring Bikini Bottom then I thought I would.

My only fear is this game is going to be a public once and never touch it or updated again type of thing and I wanted to at least have a few months of support.

just a random though, but a Spongebob Mario Party-like game themed around the fry cook games would be awesome.

I hope they do a spiritual sequel to this game, but with the ability to play as Spongebob, Patrick, or Sandy. As Spongebob, he'd be able to fly with his pants and grapple with his stretchy arms, whereas by playing as Sandy, she can fly with her jetpack on the back of her suit and grapple with her lasso. Basically, introduce full on flight mode like how Patrick can glide over Bikini Bottom while wearing the glider wings (which, by the way, I recommend getting and wearing at all times.).

They should also introduce 2-player split-screen co-op and as random as this may sound, swap character outfits between Spongebob, Patrick, or Sandy (ex. Spongebob wearing the gorilla suit, Patrick wearing Spongebob's pants, Sandy without her white suit on, but with anchor arms, Spongebob wearing Patrick's crown, Sandy with ripped pants, etc.). And of course, certain costumes providing exclusive abilities like Spongebob's Goofy Goober Rock outfit for both flying and shooting lightning bolts and Sandy's Miss Appear costume granting her invisibility. You know, stuff like that.
