Was actually looking forward to this, but at $40, I'll probably just wait for a sale and pick up just sparking zero. Game just doesn't look to have enough meat to carry it for very long. Great review.

Yeah $39.99 is a lot but the game does look pretty fun and it is definitely something different. What they’ve been doing for other SpongeBob games

We've accepted $60-$70 USD as the standard price for dark, gritty and/or military games, but we all seem to think $40 USD is too much for a light, cartoony game. Are we biased by the aesthetics, perhaps? I would rather play this than another tiresome Call of Duty retread. Don't get me wrong, I'm waiting for a sale, but only because I know sales are inevitable. If I knew it would always be this price, I would buy it right now and spend the rest of the day playing it. Looks right up my alley. :)

I would love to buy it but the game uses AI in some of its voice cast and AI generation - and I have my personal stances against use of AI in such ways, especially with how companies use it.
