Great video as always. I purchased one of these VNA devices and find it fascinating to play with. It has really helped me understand the smith chart

Very good job. Just needed to know how you got to where you are to test the antenna

Thanks for this, very useful. Particularly liked the comments regarding SWR and holding handie antennas close to face and body. If you do more videoa on the nano please would you cover how to use the Smith Chart and how it can be of use. Thanks and 73 G6XIB.

Thank you so much Sir. This and the following video are the best and most informative descriptions of the Tina vna that I have seen so far. Keep up the good work and good DX to you all..

I'd like to see an advanced video with this.

Show more standard antenna testing that we would use in the shack and probably out in the field portable. This is a very useful and cost effective tool and should be in every new hams tool box.

You've convinced me to buy one and put together a program for my club. I'm curious, will this work for adjusting a repeater duplexer? I know it is not a precision instrument, but I wonder if it is accurate enough?

I see a lot of demo's for this device, but not much in the way of practical use.

I plan to get one of these to dial in the antenna for my mobile CB (I drive a truck, so the CB still has a very real value to me).

I use a sort of vertical dipole that I've constructed from a pair of mobile antennas. What I want to see, is a demonstration of how to optimize my antenna to 27.185 Mhz, using this device. Can this device tell me if one half of my antenna needs to be lengthened or shortened? If so, which half?

Also, it looks like I might be able to use this device to build wifi antennas for my home. Or, maybe improve the antenna for the cell signal booster on my truck. Examples of that sort of thing would be awesome, too.

I have some old RG8 that I need to test to see if it is still good, it is years old.

So how does one know which version and from whom to order?

I purchased one and for the life of me I can not set the thing up to see any swr info.
The zero trace is at the very bottom of the screen. Could you produce a video for the Newbie in mind showing EXACTLY each key press to SET UP the Nanovna to show SWR? I would be forever in your debt. Most of my hair is gone trying to analyze an ICOM HT antenna.

I was expecting someone to mencione that you cannot test a portable "rubber ducky" antenna standing against a table😪.
Please, re-test the antennas the proper way

Recently purchased one of these and now, I have a device that measures return loss as opposed to SWR, without spending a half year salary (and without doing all the math.)

Not testing standars but calibration standards

Way too BIG... This thing is a monster piece of kit!
With the trend of amatures buying HF rigs that require micro-surgery size styli to operate, they should call this device the "Boat Anchor" VNA! This may not even require a jeweler's loop to read!
I can see it coming, the new question at ham swap-meets is gonna' be; "Does this antenna analyzer make my ass look big?"
Video review - A+
Product rating - FAIL
Thanks for the video!
