R.D.T.C. Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Memorial Lobby

It’s been six years since 17 innocent lives were taken from us at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Since then, we have worked every day to ensure we are better trained, more prepared and ready for any incident.

BSO’s Research, Development and Training Center is a comprehensive facility providing state-of-the-art training tools and resources for Broward County’s first responders. This center stands as a testament to the lessons learned from the tragic loss, with the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Memorial Lobby serving as an enduring tribute to the lives lost and a reminder of our commitment to never let a tragedy like it happen again.

The names of the 17 lives lost on February 14, 2018, are etched on the wall and serve as a daily reminder of the valued importance of training and preparedness. Yet, we will never stop in our mission to improve. With their memories close to our hearts, we continue to work tirelessly to make our schools and community safer places to live, learn and grow.
