Man "debunks" Patterson film using zero evidence and speculation.

I think it's a Bigfoot in a human suit in a Bigfoot suit.

On that first point about front knee propulsion, this man clearly hasn’t seen me trying to get home after a night on the bev 🤣

It's an interesting example of how a low-quality image can be more convincing than a high-quality one. Horror film directors have known this for years; never let the audience get a good look at your monster.

Everyone knows cryptids are allergic to high resolution cameras. It's like kryptonite to them.

I think this is a clear example of confirmation bias and seeing what you want to believe

Nobody gonna mention that the creature in the film has a huge rack?🤔

Bigfoot is real but SciManDan is obviously just three kids in a British person costume.

Anytime someone says there is one scientist in 10, 000 that agrees with their theory, I always think about how Yuri Geller convinced scientists that he could read minds and bend spoons.

Fun fact: Jane Goodall believes in Bigfoot.

It's hilarious how these conspiracy nuts always say "keep an open mind" yet they are they ones that aren't keeping an open mind.

i love the logic of "they would have acted crazy to be more believable, and since they didn't, it's more believable!"

I used to be pretty much indifferent to the debate as to whether Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti is real, but ever since I started watching videos about it, I've grown to disdain the people who think it's real. The complete lack of critical thinking, the confirmation bias, the conspiratorial mindset — all of these things are exhibited by Bigfoot-believers, and it drives me _mad._ The Bigfoot "truther" community managed to turn me against them without even trying.

Strange how - since the advent of high resolution smartphone cameras - no 4k video or photo of Big Foot, the Loch Ness Monster or Aliens has appeared...

I never understood the "you can see muscles under the fur flex". Like, no the fuck you can't 😂

I was a young boy when this video came out, growing up in Southern Oregon. It was a big sensation in my neck of the woods. In the late 1960s there were areas of the rugged Siskiyou Mountains that were still pretty wild and rarely visited, so the idea that a large creature could be lurking out there was not completely out of the question. Then I became a Forest Service biologist, the spotted owl wars started up in the 1980s, and those previously untrammeled areas got crisscrossed by logging roads and covered in teams of biologists looking for Spotted owls, not to mention the huge increase in the use of trail cameras in recent years. Now the idea that a creature that large (or their remains) could remain undetected in those areas is improbable to the point of impossibility. But it was fun to talk about around a campfire back in the day.

I'm just wondering how long the film-makers had to wait before this thing conveniently walked straight across their field of view, in broad daylight and with no cover, and then even more conveniently looked at them over his shoulder before walking on, completely unconcerned....

Man, I expected SciManDan to also give us a walk to show you can walk that way :D
