What actually happened: the captain told the first officer to engage autopilot but the first officer never did it so the captain left the control panel and the plane turned 11 degrees to the right the captain tried a series of movements to level the plane but it was actually making the situation worse but then the captain put autopilot on but the plane had turned 151 degrees so the accident was because of human error

Just watched the entire documentary, and when the pilot exclaimed 'Alaa!' - that's a Swahili expression for surprise, not 'Allah' as some might think. Fascinating!

I am certain that the Pilots did not disengage the autopilot, can be the reason why the Boeing 737 crashed into a swamp 3 and a half miles away from Duoala Airport.

The captain was relying on the plane way to much then himself. He should have double checked the auto pilot command.

The pilots didn't sound like Kenyans

Whoever told white folks that all Africans have the same west African accent. From my experience, Kenyans speak better English than most Americans. Whatever Americans speak is not English, it’s something funny. Wanna, gotta etc

They should’ve turned off the autopilot

Time and time again, these pilots do something, then don't undo whatever it is they've just done.
Push a button, plane turns upside-down, common sense is to unpush that button!
Watched one the other day, Cpt lowered the flaps, plane starts rolling, you'd think he'd retract the flaps, but just like this one, he did anything but..

The main cause of this crash because the left flap created more lift than the right one which caused the plane to roll uncontrollably
