I love how the whole fandom is divided and are fighting about whether a serious Godzilla movie is better than a funny one and these two dudes are like "I love your Godzilla." "Me too."

We now live in a world where G-fans can have their cake and eat it too. There's something for everyone, thanks to the works of Yamazaki and Wingard alike. It's fantastic.

"We can take totally opposite directions and, together, we are maintaining the wide spectrum of this Godzilla IP, even now".
Godzilla fans should take these two as inspiration, instead of fighting each other trying to prove one's favorite Godzilla's tone is the best and the franchise should ONLY go in that direction, Godzilla is now almost 70 because he can be both and much more

You can tell the immense respect he has for Takashi. He REALLY wanted to give him a hug.

What the Godzilla Community can be. This warms my heart by a million, seeing these two get together & express their experiences, love, feelings towards the entire Godzilla Franchise is truly something the entire Godzilla Community can learn from! We all love the same thing at the end of the day. Godzilla Fans, UNITE!

Thank you Takashi & Adam! You guys are real ones!🤍

Man it feels like a dream to see these 2 different directors together for us Godzilla fans:
Adam Wingard: the fun, silly and enjoyable spectrum of Godzilla
Takashi Yamazaki: the horrific, serious, and devastating side of godzilla

Absolutely iconic. Never in my life did I think I would see two directors talking about a shared character like Godzilla.

We live in a world where we have the two best sides of Godzilla. Let that sink in.

Before, we NEVER had this kind of privilege. Now Godzilla (and Kong) are more popular than ever, and we the fans are the recipients of this great privilege.

What a time to be a fan. Long Live the Kings.

See, all this bickering in the fandom and we have two gentlemen fighting to keep the spirit of Godzilla alive while the fandom the fandom tries to shove him in a box. YES we can and we should have both Godzillas!! STOP TRYING TO SHOVE GOJI IN A BOX!!

The Directors: chilling, sharing their Godzilla Design, telling their favorite Godzilla movie, being awesome.

The community: at each other throat, try to atomic blast each other ass for having different opinion 😂😂😂

Adam Wingard: Presents Godzilla as a force for good to maintain the natural order and balance to the world.

Takashi Yamazaki: Presents Godzilla as a painful reminder of our destructive tendencies, wrongdoings and our trauma.

Both delivers Godzilla in different spectrums that we can all enjoy and be at awe.

I like how the community rages for over a simple opinion while the directors in the other hand, just talk randomly and chill with eachother like a father-son bonding relationship.

Seeing these lifelong Goji fans becoming Goji creators and inspiring new generations of fans while delighting everyone with their creations is bringing me so much joy.

What a time to be alive, folks. The Kaiju genre is at it's height!

These two films are our Barbie and Oppenheimer. We are spoiled to get both sides of the coin of Godzilla.

Godzilla is the key to coexistence between campy and fun & serious and foreboding, for he can be both and neither at the same time and still be considered Godzilla.

This is the most wholesome interview I have ever seen. You can see how both of them are excited talking about each other projects and how shy and flattered they get over it. It’s so precious 😭

Its awesome seeing both the Monsterverse movies and Toho movies be so connected these days. The perfect blend between East and West

I remember that stretch between 2004 and 2014 where no one was making Godzilla movies. It felt like forever but now we have new movies, tv shows, anime, etc.

The fact we got 2 movies and a TV show in the span of 6 months is incredible and I honestly don't know if it will ever happen again.
